All About Easter

Happy Spring - It's Easter time!!!

We colored eggs at home and had a lot of fun.

We woke up early and hunted for Easter eggs at home that the Easter bunny left us.

And we checked out our great Easter baskets.

And then we were off to Booma & Boompa's house for brunch, more Easter egg hunting & good family fun!

Kids go to Northstar

Brad wanted to take the kids skiing up at Northstar....

They were very excited to go somewhere new (besides Sky Tavern & Mt. Rose).

They loved it even though it was VERY cold...thanks Brad!!!

Brian turns 40!!!

We all had a great time at Brian's 40th.

Trevor goes to the Planetarium

Trevor's 2nd Grade class went on a field trip to the Planetarium...

And I was lucky enough to go too.

And then we ate lunch at the park.

Hailee & her GS troop tour KRNV

Hailee's Girl Scout was lucky enough to go on a tour of the KRNV TV Studio.

We got to sit a very quietly & listen to the 5pm newscast.

The girls were all in awe of Shelby Sheehan like she was a tv star....she is on tv after all.

Hailee turns 10!!!

We all had such a great time celebrating Hailee's birthday by spending the night at the Nugget and swimming at the pool.....

Bob Hill Memorial

Our Uncle Bob Hill passed away on Feb. 23, 2009
He had a descending thoracic aortic aneurysm.
He had 2 surgeries - 1) Feb. 20th & 2) Feb. 22nd.
He was in very serious critical condition but even with the 2 surgeries, he did not make it through.
They had a memorial in Chicago where he was living and then they had an Inurnment & Service in Reno on March 14th.
These are a couple of pictures from Mountain View Cemetary during the service.


After the service, we went back to Bob's sister's Judy's house.
We all enjoyed each other's company and got to view a great slideshow put together by Steven, Jim & Andrew Hill. There were so many great pictures and memories of Bob.
Trevor & Jim really got to know each other by going crazy with some balloons. Jim was such a great sport by putting up with Trevor and his craziness!

It sure was great to see them all again. I had forgotten how much I really miss them since they had moved to Chicago so many years ago.

The kids both participated in the school Science Fair.

They didn't win but they had fun experimenting anyway!
